Vicki Virk was born and raised in Punjab, India. Though she became an attorney, her passion for the arts, culture, and community inspired her on a different path. Vicki is the founder of Dholrhythms Dance Company and Non Stop Bhangra which have become cultural staples in the San Francisco Bay Area arts scene.

Based in San Francisco Bay Area, Dholrhythms Dance Company is an organization dedicated to promoting the artistic and cultural heritage of India by sharing rhythms of Punjab through classes, workshops, performances and events. Since its inception in 2003, Dholrhythms has grown into a boundless and unique platform for people of diverse backgrounds to come together, express themselves, and dance in a non-competitive and positive environment.
NON STOP BHANGRA
A 16+ year production, Non Stop Bhangra is a unique experience that celebrates the beautiful and vibrant spirit of Bhangra, a traditional Punjabi folk music and dance. A collective of djs, dancers, drummers, and guest musicians, it has consistently been voted "Best Dance Party" in the San Francisco Bay Area.
